Sweet Potato Fries

These go good with just about anything, but are especially tasty with burgers or BBQ dishes!

Seriously.  Just reading those words makes me want to eat.  I LOVE sweet potatoes!  Here’s a quick and easy recipe for fries.  Yum! Yum! Yum!

Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of sweet potatos, cleaned, peeled, and cut into 1/2 inch fries
  • 2 Tablespoons of melted butter, ghee, or bacon fat (I used bacon fat and it was AMAZING!)
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon sea salt depending on your preference

What to do:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil.  In a large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients until the fries are well coated.  Lay them in a single layer on the baking sheet and place in the oven.  Bake for 10 minutes and then gently stir the fries to brown on the other sides.  Bake another 10 minutes and gently flip again.  Bake an additional 10 minutes or until the fries are lightly browned and baked through.  Serve hot and crisp from the oven!
