My mother-in-law is the inspiration for this recipe. She served a very buttery cabbage side dish to us and we fell in love. I love cabbage anyway, but sauteed in butter – amazing!!! Here’s the super simple and incredibly tasty recipe!
Sauteed Cabbage in Butter
Ingredients:
- One head of red or green cabbage, cut into 1 inch chunks
- 3 Tablespoons of butter
- Sea salt to taste (optional)
What to do:
Melt the butter in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the cabbage and saute until it is softened, about 10 minutes. Every few minutes, stir the cabbage around to allow even cooking. If desired, season to taste with sea salt. The perfect side dish for chicken, pork chops, or steak!
