Full of flavor and nutrition and a much better option than take out! | This is so good...Today I am sharing one of my favorite one dish “skillet meals” with you – Ground Beef with Kale and Mushrooms.  This dish takes only a few minutes to prep and only dirties one pan – score!  Ground Beef with Kale and Mushrooms is the perfect meal for busy nights or for those days you just want to get out of the kitchen fast!

I’m a huge fan of these types of meals.  Even though I love to cook, sometimes I need a break and don’t want to spend hours chopping and cleaning.  Life’s too short!!  Some of my other go-tos in the quick and easy category include: Pan-Seared Cod with Artichokes and Capers, Five Spice Pork with Broccoli, Carrots, and Garlic Scapes, or Lemon Garlic Baked Salmon.

The key to keeping simple meals interesting is adding flavor!!  This takes no time at all and makes a simple meal feel special.  Accomplish this by keeping a well stocked spice cabinet and get creative with the flavors!  For this recipe, I add garlic and onion powders, cayenne, and crushed red pepper flakes.  Just a little heat, but so much flavor.
