One of my favorite things about fall is the gorgeous cool weather fruits and vegetables that start showing up at the farmer’s market. Today’s recipe makes use of all of that beautiful goodness. Baked Squash with Buttered and Spiced Fall Fruit is elegant enough to serve at your Thanksgiving table, but simple enough to make for a weeknight meal.
Baked Squash with Buttered and Spiced Fall Fruit is slightly sweet and filled with warm spices like cinnamon and ginger. I’ve even eaten this dish as a dessert!
I’ve been making versions of this dish for years, but for today’s recipe I’m going all in. Three different fruits, some of my favorite spices, butter, and walnuts! Oh, yes!!
This recipe will serve four, but it can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a larger crowd. Leftovers heat up nicely in the oven, so make extra!
A quick note on my favorite products used for Baked Squash with Buttered and Spiced Fall Fruit
This recipe is flavored with some of my favorite warm spices and a little bit of honey! I purchase all of my organic spices from Wilderness Family Naturals. They are always fresh and so flavorful.
